Dovee is a product workflow, not just a syntax swap
Dovee is designed around chart signals: write a strategy, run it on candles, inspect the result and refine the idea. Buy, sell and exit statements simulate signals on the chart; they do not place broker orders.
The language includes indicators, conditions, session context, plots, risk controls and strategy state. Start with the language tour, then use the reference pages when you need exact behavior.
When Pro is the better fit
Chart includes public scripts and the full charting workspace. Pro is designed for private or invite-only strategies, backtesting, Dovee AI assistance and outbound webhook signals.
Questions traders ask
Is Dovee the same as Pine Script?
No. Dovee is charting's own English strategy language. It is intended for the charting engine and has its own syntax and execution behavior.
Can Dovee place broker orders?
No. Dovee produces simulated chart signals. Broker connections are read-only; optional Pro webhooks can send values to a service you control.
